Wednesday Night Sk8 Therapy

Another mid-week session is in the books. Cody came out for a few hours and much fun was had.

During the winter we end up going to indoor parks each weekend since it gets too cold to skate in the barn, so it’s exciting when these sessions pop up in the middle of the week now!

My main focus of the night turned out to be trying to push my no-comply tail slides up on the coping instead of below. It’s harder and I think looks better, but I didn’t get a really clean one yet. Ended up with a weird slide switch crook kinda of thing, but I’ll keep working on them.

The little quarter pipe is always fun to warm up on but there are definitely tricks that I can still only do on that size ramp so far, but it’s great to be able to take it to the next level right in the same room.

Our next session is tomorrow in Madison, I’ll post about that later.
